For sports fans 18 years and older who enjoy the fun and friendly YMCA atmosphere but still want to go for the gold, the Adult Sports program provides an outlet for all your competitive energy.

Learn self-confidence, self-discipline, self-control, and self-defense skills in this exciting class.

Advanced and Adult Climbing Class >

Interested in climbing but not sure where to start? Been climbing a while and ready to learn a new skill? Is your child skilled and looking for a new challenge?

Then the Advanced and Adults climbing class is perfect for you! Climbers will be challenged to achieve personal goals on the wall and take their climbing skills to the next level. Climbers will learn and work on lead climbing, lead falls, advanced techniques, route setting boulder problems, and how to choose and buy your own gear. This class can be taken multiple times.

Summer Adult Basketball Leagues >

Get your team together and join our ELITE or RECREATION Adult Basketball League at the Stephens Family YMCA! 

These are competitive leagues with registered IHSA officials & record keeping. Each league finishes the season with an End-of-Season tournament to crown a champion!

Must be 18 years old to play.

Elite Basketball League

The Elite League is a men’s league designed for teams who are highly competitive and skilled players. To be competitive in this league, it is recommended that teams have multiple players who played at a high school or college level, and play basketball on a consistent basis. The league will have 7 regular season games and an end-of-season tournament.

Season Dates: June 3rd to July 15th
Game Days: Monday Evenings
Time: Games are 1 hour long at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, or 8pm
Playoff Dates: July 22nd, July 29th, August 1st
Team Cost: $450/Team

Elite Basketball League Registration

 

Recreation Basketball League

The Recreation League is a coed league designed for teams & players with moderate or lower skill levels who want to enjoy playing competitive basketball. The league will have 6 regular season games and an end-of-season tournament. Games are still played competitively with registered officials and record keeping. 

Season Dates: June 6th to July 18th
Game Days: Thursday Evenings
Time: Games are 1 hour long at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, or 8pm
Playoff Dates: July 25th, July 29th, August 1st
Team Cost: $400/Team

Recreation Basketball League Registration

Don’t have a team?

Players who do not have a full team to sign up may also sign up with the “Individual Team” in the Recreation League. Players on this team will be assigned to a team with other random individuals.

Cost to join the individual team is $60 per player.

Individual Team Registration

 

Team’s must provide their own jerseys for the league. Jerseys must be the same color for all players on the team, and have clear numbers on the front or back.
