The Rolling HEAT Wheelchair Basketball Program
The Rolling HEAT Wheelchair Basketball Team is a prep-level wheelchair basketball program, registered with the NWBA. The Rolling Heat offers a supportive environment for young athletes, ages 5-14, to develop foundational wheelchair basketball skills and prepare for competitive play. Our program is led by a Paralympian coach, ensuring expert guidance for every participant. Whether your child aspires to join a traveling competitive team or simply wants to build skills, we welcome all players.
More than just a sport, wheelchair basketball with The Rolling Heat is an opportunity to cultivate confidence, build friendships, and strengthen teamwork. Athletes will learn discipline, enhance competitive skills, and connect with a welcoming community that celebrates their abilities.
If you or someone you know has a lower extremity disability and is interested in wheelchair basketball, The Rolling Heat is dedicated to supporting every player's journey, both on and off the court.

NEW! Rookie Rollers
Rookie Rollers is an introductory wheelchair basketball program for children ages 3 years through Kindergarten, as well as older children whose disability may make a competitive team less appropriate. This fun, skills-based program meets 45 minutes, once a week over 5 weeks, helping athletes build confidence while learning wheelchair comfort and mobility, passing, dribbling, and other basketball fundamentals. No sports wheelchair is required, as equipment is provided. Athletes do not need to use a wheelchair in their day-day life, but should have a lower extremity disability.
